Bat Surveys

WHETHER YOU LIKE THEM OR NOT BATS ARE A PROTECTED SPECIES IN THE UK AND TRYING TO KILL, INJURE OR DISTURB BATS IS AN OFFENCE.

Bats will often roost in awkward hard to reach places in buildings, trees and other structures. Often the only way to conduct a detailed survey is to access their roosting area via rope. Fortunately our IRATA trained rope access team can get into the most difficult of bat habitats.

Before making any decision as to what to do with bats you should contact the Bat Conservation Trust as the consequences can be very costly.

HOW CAN SUMMIT ROPE ACCESS HELP WITH BAT SURVEYS?

We can also help you understand how bats are getting in and out. There are usually multiple entrances with one main entrance which needs to be identified.

The results of the survey will identify the species of bat and provide information as to the best way of dealing with the problem.
